Terms of Service

Effective Date: 16 September 2025

By participating in any FitBet challenge, you agree to the following terms:

  1. Eligibility

You must be 18 years or older to participate in FitBet challenges. You must also have access to a compatible fitness tracking platform or device (e.g. Strava, Fitbit, Garmin, Apple Health) that can verify your workout data.

2. Data Connection

To join a challenge, you may be required to connect your fitness data through a supported platform. Currently, FitBet integrates with Strava, with plans to expand support in the future.

By connecting your account, you authorize FitBet to read necessary workout data (e.g. duration, heart rate) for the purpose of scoring challenges.

3. Scoring & Rules

Each challenge has its own published rules and scoring criteria (e.g. required heart rate zone, workout duration, streak bonuses). These rules are communicated before the challenge starts and are final once the challenge begins. Scores are based on submitted or connected fitness data and calculated in accordance with the challenge rules.

4. Prizes & Entry Fees

Some challenges may offer prizes or incentives for top performers or participants who meet specific goals (e.g. completing a full streak).

If a challenge requires an entry fee:

  • Entry fees are collected securely via Stripe. Once a challenge has started, entry fees are non-refundable unless FitBet cancels the challenge.

  • Prize payouts will be distributed via UK bank transfer within 7 days of the challenge ending. Winners will be contacted to provide bank details. It is the responsibility of the participant to ensure all bank details are accurate before sending to FitBet.

  • By entering a challenge, you acknowledge that winnings are not guaranteed and are based on your performance relative to other participants and the published scoring system.

  • By entering, you agree to the terms for that specific challenge.

    5. Fair Play & Removal

FitBet reserves the right to disqualify or remove participants for:

  • Falsified or manipulated data

  • Use of unsupported platforms or devices

  • Any activity that violates the spirit or integrity of the challenge

  • If you are removed or disqualified from a paid challenge for breaching these terms, your entry fee will not be refunded.

Decisions by FitBet regarding disqualifications or rule enforcement are final.
